Leaders from the agriculture and manufacturing sectors are emphasizing the importance of maintaining the stability offered by the US–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA). "Basically do no harm to this agreement because it is working," said Dave Walton, an Iowa farmer and vice president of the American Soybean Association. Walton noted that USMCA has created supply chains that have become essential to the industry’s operations.
