Tonight, we will learn the 68 teams selected for the 2026 NCAA Basketball Tournaments.
Before that, nine conference championship games will take place, starting at 11:00 AM Central with the Ivy League men's final and the Patriot League and NEC women's finals. The schedule below is as accurate as possible as of 5:00 PM Central on Saturday, and I will update it with confirmed teams on Sunday morning.
Another update coming Sunday morning will be a detailed preview of what to expect during the WBIT selection show at 8:00 PM Central tonight. Marquette may still make the 32-team field, but we’ll take a closer look after Sunday’s games conclude.
Also, the 98th Academy Awards air Sunday night, where Marquette alum Amy Madigan is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Weapons. That’s certainly relevant to this blog!
